Rohit suffered a toe injury during Mumbai Indians’ clash with RCB on April 12, followed by a hamstring issue that kept him off the field for weeks. As a result, he featured in just 7 of MI’s 12 matches. Even upon return, he was often used as an Impact Player, limiting his on-field presence.

The one-off Test against Afghanistan begins on June 6 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur. The three ODIs will follow, starting June 14 in Dharamsala. The second match takes place in Lucknow on June 17, with the series concluding in Chennai on June 20.
